Californian 34 sedan generator help

Hey guys.
I have the 5kw Kohler/Yanmar 3TNE68C-EKM generator. I have not found much on the engine and I am in need of the 40amp alternator. I have ordered 2 so far that the company states they fit the 3TNE68 but they have both been wrong. The coolant tank has a corner molded out behind the alternator that allow the positive post on the alternator to fit. Both the new alternators have the post orientated to the top and it will not clear. Does any one have the manual or a part number of the original alternator? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Chris--can't help ref the alternator.....But, you might try calling PacWest in San Diego if you don't get an answer here.....619-222-0475.....They are everything Yanmar/Kohler and have been helpful over the phone in the past....They are considered knowledgeable here in San Diego....

Called PacWest and he had the Alternator. For future information the discontinued Kohler 5EOZ Spec#126116 requires alternator part# 256924. Cost me $250 with shipping to Alabama.
