For sale: Webasto Air Top Evo 40 Diesel Heater. $500 plus shipping. Two years ago the glow pin gave out. We had Sure Marine repair it. We were in Juneau with guests when the failure occurred. Turn around repair time dictated we just buy a new one and have the other repaired and sent to our home.

Reducing the price to $700 plus shipping.

Sounds like it’s time to hire a marine electrician to speed up the identification process.

Years ago we purchased a GB 36 in Wisconsin and had it trucked to Seattle Washington and did not have to remove the fly bridge. It made the trip just fine except for some road dirt.

Thinking of using the oil sold at Costco for my Ford Lehman, any comments?

We are the owners of a 198o’s GB 36. Suggest you have oil samples from the engine and transmission. If you have the old style exhaust riser, remove it and inspect that the dam inside has not corroded allowing water to enter cylinder #6. Good luck with the buying process.
