Scott I verified your suggested origin and you are correct. These drains are from the air intake boxes which the 42 has 4 of them. Thanks every for their input. Robert

I’m looking to find out what are the clear hoses, not the white sanitation hoses. They are not AC drains or anything to do with the holding tank. They are some form of drain into the bilges but I have never seen any water coming out of them, even when it rains.

I’m still learning the different components of my 1996 GB 42. I have these two hoses just forward of the fuel tanks on both sides . They appear to be some form of drain into the bilge but I can’t tell the origin. Anyone can enlighten me on this? Thanks Robert

I’m looking for a teak grate for the forward shower head of a GB 42 Classic. It measures 36 x 26 in. Ours came with a Starboard material, I’m not sure from the factory or made by the previous owner. The smaller section by the door is teak grate. Thanks

Has anyone figured out how to channel the chain locker water and mud so as it not go into the bilge? Although I wash the chain as it comes up, sometimes, you don’t have the time (strong current or wind) and the mud ends up draining into the chain locker and the the bilge.
