1994 GB Classic - #1062 Westerbeke 5kw. Nothing ever an issue and the boat does not need any more. Quiet, efficient, awesom.

Our 36 did 8 1/2- 9/12 with no problem at 2150 rpm, of course the bottom was always clean. Lots and lots of people here never or Seldom clean the bottoms of their boats and wonder why they are so slow. Funny. Go for it. GB 32/36 are amazing boats.

Well, she is an amazing yacht, drive her with confidence, allow her to make her way even if it wallows. She is an amazing yacht. Don’t worry about what everyone who never had one says, just enjoy her wonderful motion. GB FOREVER

I have used varnish, but I do love the rails exactly as you have them. Oil is probably easier to maintain and looks exquisite.

As a racing sailor all my life, and every time I comment on this site I am dismissed and denigrated, but honestly…………call the folks at Harken. Tell them your concerns. We raced 73 foot ocean racers and dinghy’s………….never was any question too small. You will never get what you want here. Sorry...

Honestly. The only bottom paint, Newport, Jamestown and all the way south…..no one there uses anything but SEA HAWk. NO ONE. None of them ever send a boat south without it, and it is absolutely better and far less expensive than your other options, and no one, including the top sailing ocean...
