Someone locally has a pair of props for sale. I have 24x24” props. The ones for sale are 24x25 can these be reworked so I can use them? Price is really good for the pair.

Sure, all you have to is have a prop shop rework the new props so they perform like the old. Probably they will reduce the pitch to match the old.

But are your current props right? At wot your engines should rev to a point 50-100 rpm’s more than rated wot power. But you must use accurate rpm’s. Most dash gauges can be off. Buy a photo tach and calibrate your dash tachs.

Do you have the same overpitched props from when we moved your boat a number of years ago?

They should be able to take an 1” off the pitch. We just had that done on ours.

I doubt you would see a huge difference with an inch in pitch on such large props but are you able to reach max rpm at WOT with existing props? If you are just buying these as spares then the pitch doesn't matter.
