I'm happy with the results from installing the snaps directly into the vinyl. We wound up leaving the vinyl up until the rains stopped. It's about time to put the vinyl back up.

This will be our first winter aboard in the PNW. We have snaps for canvas covers, so I'd like to try making clear vinyl covers. What's the right thickness/gauge? Sailrite sells 12 - 60 gauge. Thanks!
