Thanks for the response. This is exactaly what I figured was the case. My portlights are closer to 40 and are holding up pretty well so far. The gaskets.. not so much. Looks like I have replacement portlights in my near future.

What happened in Florida is not what I was pointing out. I have never paid sales tax and the boat has no state registration (not required in Texas) The (not required in Texas) is what I was pointing out. Texas registration of Documented Vessels is required.
