I receive a daily email feed from the USCG 7th District South Florida. Daily it is 200 Cuban nationals interdicted at sea and repatriated, 150 Dominicans, 100 Haitians, etc etc. These men are doing a yeoman's job securing our southern sea border from illegal aliens. My respect for them has grown immensely. Bravo Zulu!
 
When you see the things they are trying to get here in, you know the Coast Guard is saving a lot of lives.

You also have to feel how desperate they are to get out of their countries. I once saw four empty rafts off Miami in one day.

The majority are economic, not political refugees. I cannot get by the issue of using the front door.

Of course it’s economic. They are trying to leave a communist paradise. What front door are you talking about?
