Detroit Diesel surveyor recommendations South FL

Hello,

We are closing in on a vessel with Naturally aspirated Detroit Diesels. Would love recommendations for a mechanical surveyor specializing in those engine in the Fort Lauderdale area?

The current owners may take the boat up to near Jacksonville if we cannot find a surveyor in Ft lauderdale, so any recommendation for Jacksonville would also be much appreciated.

You may want to check with Diesel Don out of Scottsboro AL. 256-259-7728. He is my go to mechanic for our DD's. He can usually be found in Florida this time of year as his clients are very happy to pay his travel fees to get him on their boats.

As a reminder, Ft. Lauderdale is considered the yachting capital of the world, so your best best for finding anything in multiples is most likely able to be found in Ft. Lauderdale.
