Starlink Gen 4/Mexico

Gen 3 is not available in Mexico yet. not sure when it will be.

I am planning to buy my starlink in Mexico within the next month or so.

my question is, can i later buy gen 4 hardware in the US and replace the hardware only and continue my Mexican service plan?

Gen 4, cannot find that. Gen 3 is rolling out with this message

At this time, the ability to purchase the Starlink Gen 3 router is by invitation only to a small group of early customers in the US. We are unable to accomomdate order requests from customers who did not receive an invitation.

it's also available at best buy now. would they sell you the hardware without the connectivity contract?

I went to my Starlink account to find the quote for post 2.
Following the evolution of dishy.
I have the Gen2 dish. The Gen3 does not offer anything for my needs. I have ethernet adapter. WIFI 6 is the new thing but on the boat, small footprint, no extra benefit. Flat dish, well we have our ways to lay it flat. Not sure how they would improve on great performance.
