Trying out these new recliners....

We removed the cabin sofa and moved these to "nursery size" recliners onboard.

They are pretty big & comfy and actually don't take up anymore room like we thought they would.

In several of our previous boats we had recliners. We would put down an area rug with a non skid pad underneath the carpet. Worked well keeping the recliners in place.

For my recliners I put a small screw pad eye 2-3’ up from trim where curtain hangs down. Then small one under trim edge of where table is mounted. Then tues small line when needed. Then we’ve found they don’t even move around much offshore. So we seldom use it and Mine are probably lighter than yours. Lamp - take off shade and lay down on floor behind the chairs.

We replaced the pedestal chair in our Mariner 37 with a recliner from Lambright. They come in lots of sizes from small to huge and are built to order, so they are available in a bunch of finishes.

Ours are Made by Palliser and were $1,500.00 a piece integrated foot rest saves space

We bought some Ekornes about 16 years ago and moved them to several boats. Loved them but they went when we sold our last boat. Our Formula wouldn’t have had room for them anyway.

We bought this Lazy Boy recliner a few months ago. Its electric reclining. I like it as I can take the back off and get it through our back door. I was told that this is the Admirals Throne and I am to keep my backside out of it!!
