Well the first named storm of the season is here early. Tropical storm Arthur is getting ready to dump some rain and wind on the Outer Banks of NC.
Left Mile Hammock next to Camp Lejeun this morning around 6 AM. Noticed the wind had picked up by 9 AM. Was talking to a buddy of mine on the phone who asked me how close I was to the Tropical storm. So I'm settled into Green's Creek anchorage ready for some wind and rain. It's amazing how out of touch you can get when cruising.
From Marine Traffic:
Hope everybody else in the area has taken proper precautions.
