One of the few Unmolested launches left in existence. Built in 1993 by Willard Marine for the US Navy. She was issued to the USS Bridge as a tender. When the Bridge was refit in approx 2004, this boat was sent as surplus. Bought privately she has been in storage ever since. The Cummins 6Bt only has 650 hours on it and runs flawlessly. I recently ran her for 40 miles with no problems. All major maintenance has been done prior to that run. New batteries, impeller, serpentine belt, all fluids, new fuel, refurbished prop, new anodes etc.. She burns approximately 1.6 gallons an hour doing 7 knots with the power to push to 12 knots when needed.
Issues are minimal and mostly asthetic. From being stored for so long her paint is ready for a fresh coat. The charging electrical system works flawless, though the parallel lighting systems do need to be replaced. She does show signs of long term storage but has no fiberglass or mechanical issues that I know of. I would be perfectly comfortable running her to the San Juan's or Bellingham with no notice.
I purchased her with the intention of converting her to a custom dive boat. Well things change quickly and I have to move on already. She would be the perfect basis for a custom Expedition Build, custom dive boat, commercial harbor tug or any sort of utility boat. Willard still builds this same configuration as the 49 passenger water taxi.
Asking price is OBO so bring all offers and questions. Pictures available upon request. Don't be afraid to insult me wife says I have to many boats and can't buy a new Expedition boat until this one goes. Help me help you.
