Hi Ken. No, this was outside Port Ludlow, WA. There are some very nasty, but very well marked and charged rocks there. The original owner, who kept his boat at Port Ludlow, drove right up on that rock at high tide.

I know that rock! I think you'd have to be pretty drunk to find it.

The PO was just inexperienced and oblivious. He got into boating by writing a check for a new boat. He did learn a lot over his 6 years of ownership and used the boat a LOT all over the PNW. He found the rock within the first few months of ownership.

Is that expensive moorage?

Or was this Glacier Bay?
