Dryer vent install ideas

I have a 65' boat that I am doing a complete refit on. Originally it had a Splendide washer/dryer combo. I am not a fan of the combos. So, I removed it and replacing it with a separate washer and dryer.

I was wondering if there is a good way to vent the dryer to the outdoors, minus running it through a window or hatch. I am looking for a permanent solution.

I have looked at the Samsung and LG heat pump dryers, in lieu of needing a dryer vent, but I believe it is 3.5 hrs to dry.

The washer is a 2.2 cu ft model and the dryer is a 4.0 cu ft model, so not full size.

As far as electric or gas, I will be listing a separate post for that reference.

My stackable goes to an out side vent on the hull with a large clamshell chrome cover you can find at West Marine. Make sure your vent hose run is smooth and straight to avoid buildup of fuzz at the low points.

I ran one of mine out the side and used a large S/S clamshell to cover the exit. I angled it somewhat downward to keep rain and spray out.

No dryer aboard but only comment from home & motorhome units would be to plan clean out as part of the design & installation.

My vent hose runs to the engine room and then uses the engine vents to exhaust out side the boat. No need for another hole in the side of the boat.

Due to the location of my Dryer I have a 30' vent run. I just added a bilge blower at the mid point of the vent hose. Sucks all the lint right out of the dryer and pushes it right out of the boat.

Disadvantage of vente]d model, lint build up in Vent hose. Just clean it out once a year.
