Another Sydney Whale Disentanglement

Rescuers from multiple organizations combined to disentangle this juvenile humpback whale over 2 days. The rescue inside the harbour was abandoned on day one due to fading light. A tracking device fell off overnight, possibly while it was offshore. but this smart whale returned to the harbour next day where the team waited,ready for a successful round 2. Do whales know people are trying to help, no idea, but maybe yes.
