    Water Hyacinth

    Biological control is actually simple if not a bit cruel. Koi. Simply put Koi in the pond, river etc and they eat the hyacinth roots. They multiply like crazy and devour the entire hyacinth patch rapidly and kill it off. The cruel part is after the hyacinth is dead, the koi starve to death.

    No, there is no need to dry a hull out. We have had both wood and fiberglass boats that were only out of the water long enough for a bottom paint job. Years of ownership and no issues. Hell I haven't even ever heard of that before your post.
