Am getting a new thru hull transducer for my 1987 32 GB. Question: What is the degree of deadrise on the 32 GB ? Am told if 5 degrees or less I can get by with one transducer for what I want in a new chart plotter/fish finder. just bought the 32 GB and no records on the present transducer...

Also can I get a stainless steel transducer or should it be bronze?

Anyone know the deadrise on the 32 GB? I want to get new transducer and chart plotter/depth /fish finder and am told by dealers that single transducer is best for deadrise of 5 degrees or less and if greater deadrise then I should get twin transducers.

But am also considering Anclote Key anchorage running to anchorage at Cedar Key then Steinhatchee and across to the eastern end of Dog Island with an anchorage at the bay at Dog's west end or going up to Carrabelle.

I was actually thinking of Anclote Key to Carrebelle then into the ICW as I return to Fairhope AL. I just bought my GB 32 and am having it serviced in Gulfport FL.

Peter thx. Yes I am new to trawler boating. I grew up boating and have had a 20’ pontoon for many years. The 32 GB will make it nicer for my wife and daughter to be out on the boat all day and perhaps some over nighters. We are on Mobile Bay so bottom fishing In the Gulf is also in the plans...

So I need to replace or rebuild my generator. Should I just take this opportunity to get a new generator that is a combo generator / inverter ? Or is there even such a thing as a combo unit.

Watching the battery power level means generator needs to be used to periodically recharge batteries for continued inverter power ?

So an inverter powers the modern conveniences and when the inverter runs only off battery then the batteries power level has to be watched. Also the inverter can run off the generator and produce, convert generator to inverter power, for more stable power for the modern conveniences ?

I just bought a 1987 GB 32 and am rather excited. I will be putting in new bilge system and wonder if anyone has a recommendation for make of bilge to get. I was thinking of putting in 4 bilges. 1 forward 2000 gph 1 mid section 3000 gph 2 aft 2000 and 500 gph what make of bilge is suggested...
