Why not try a piece of silicone rubber flexible coupler in your exhaust pipe to reduce vibration. It will save you some work, and will be relatively easy to cut a section of pipe out and do the insert. Worth looking into

Perkins Turbo If you are near a John Deere Tractor dealership, they should be able to supply you with a replacement. There are a lot of Perkins T-6-354s in the bigger J D tractors. Second choice is Cummins turbo. They adapt easily. Capt Nemo
