    Don't know how I messed that up, but you are absolutely correct. The height is indeed 16 feet 10½ inches :)

    According to the manual for our 1992 42 MY from keel to the top of the flybridge windshield measures 17' 10" (540 cm), and with the windshield removed it is 12' 10 ½" (510 cm)
