So my new marina does not have 50 amp service and my boat requires it. I do have a Marinco Shore Power EEL "Y" Adapter but the 30 amp connectors are female and I need male connections. I really do not want to shell out $300 for a new adapter if I don't have to. Are their any other options for...

Took the trip up the Hudson in August 2019. Really enjoyed the scenery. Unfortunately we were not to stop in to many places but the ride was well worth it alone. Took on fuel at Haverstraw Marina paid roughly $2.80 a gallon!!

    Water temperature gauge issue

My water temperature gauge is malfunctioning. When I turn on other switches such as navigation lights etc my gauge jumps 10 degrees causing the alarm to go off. I would like to wire this direct from sending unit to gauge without using a terminal. Any ideas are much appreciated.

I decided to take on the task of changing my oil in my port, starboard and Genset. This was my first attempt at doing this. My boat is equipped with the jabsco oil changing pump and it has three levers to control which engine oil you can pump out. My initial pump out was to be for the port...

    T-handle type seacock.

I have a t-type seacock for my genset fresh water intake. It looks somewhat like this without the large handle in the back.* It is difficult to get to and to turn. Is there a tool I can use to help close this valve so I can service the genset?

I am researching for a prop shop. I have one local but I am not sure if there work is good. Not sure what the turn around time would be? Also need to find out where I can get a haul out. I don’t plan on going faster than 10 knots or haul speed I will be well under the 2450 rpms so if I get...

Delivery from Baltimore to N Shore LI- lessons learned

Sorry for the newbie question, I am told I am over propped not sure how that works. In my mind over propping would mean more speed. In this case I am under the desired RPM and speed? Can this wait until after the season is over when its hauled etc? The bottom was cleaned at the survey last month.
