We live in Delaware (no tax) and just bought a boat in NC (no tax).* The boat is Coast Guard documented and we plan to keep it for the next year in the Chesapeake Bay in MD.* Is it true we have to register it there and pay a 5% excise tax to the state of MD?

Bringing our new to us boat up from Manteo to the Chesapeake. I will be working for a living while the Captain, our son and our awesome broker Captain Mike Dickens bring her up the first week in April.

Ok, so new boat, 2 weekends aboard trying to figure it out, still haven't left the dock, as the Kitchen Captain, I have to aks, is it possible that this electric stove has a switch which allows you to choose "stove" or "Oven" but not both? Am I missing something?

We just bought ours this year, we do have a nice Grady-White Tournament 225 for sale, 2007 under warranty and a real beauty.

She's a Fu Hwa 1986 42ft twin volvos, she is currently in NC but we will be bringing her up to the Chesapeake in April and keeping her in Kent Island.
