    Women in boating and here.....

    My wife and I have been boating for most of 40 years having started out racing sail boats. Our crew for passages is her sister who races her own sailboat. My wife can and does handle maintenance when needed, can dock the boat, do navigation, etc as well as most but prefers to not be captain...

    Battery (?) problem

    We had the same problem with our batteries this winter and found out that the battery type switch on the Charles charger was shorting. Charles told us that it has been a problem with some of the older chargers.

    Marine Trader Euro 36

    Just purchased a gem of a 1984 Marine Trader 36 but it didn't have a windlass mounted.* The configuration of the pulpit and hawse pipe have me a bit confused as the pipe is so far offset.* I have purchased a Lewmar Pro Fish 1000 and it appears that I will have to put in a new centered hawse...
