    Ford anchor The anchor on G R Ford only weighes in at 15 ton's, half of a Nimitz class anchor. Chain is smaller also, only 130 lbs per link ( x's 1300 ft.)

    My midlife crisis car (20 yrs. ago) was a 1972 Fiat 124 spyder, orange color. Paid 3k for it and drove it for 3 years. Mostly weekend jaunts.It must have slipped past the Fiat quality control people as I never had to do a lick of work on it.Sold it after 3 years and about 10k miles for what I paid.

    Tyee marina to the Tacoma Sounder sta. should be about 10 to15 min. However there are no services(food,fuel, etc.) close by. Decent marina though.

    Think I'll go with American Diesel, they quoted me $160 for the kit, elbow, gasket & bolts, will call them tommorow with the order. I'll get the hose localy, same price, about $20 per foot.

    Went to the boat yesterday to do a quick check, found the drip pan under the engine had about 4 inches of water in it. upon looking for a source (with engine running) saw a fairly steady drip from the bottom of the exahust outlet. closer looking showed it to be wasted badly away & the hose split...
