I have had success removing things bonded with 5200 by heating a metal putty knife with a torch and jamming the hot putty knife into the 5200 space. This has worked on removing windows, cleats and through hulls. I will continue to use 5200 below the water line.

If the inverter was on when a shore side power failed and there was a load then placed on the inverter which drew the batteries down. This is why I always turn the inverter off when on shore power. I suggest if shore power in back on that you move the battery switch to "all" to permit the start...

You may wish to practice "rudder catch" in reverse. As you have noted the prop will walk the stern even with the wheel hard over. When this occurs try going to neutral as the boat continues to move aft. There is usually a point where the rudder will engage with the boat movement and will turn...

Sterling paint is a preferred air craft paint. Because I like the looks of it on aircraft I painted a boat with it. Great result and would use it again.

I never turned screw. I do not know if the present owner has turned the screw.

The only difference between a Perkins Sabra 265hp and 300hp was 1/4 turn to a screw on the fuel pump and the stickers on the engine. Yes, I did own one.
