Achilles heel or maintain-able? My wife and I are considering our return to boating with a Roughwater 37 or 41. We had a Canoe Cove 41 for 8 years but we love the lines of a Roughwater and the simpler single engine to maintain. The one part that is holding us back are the rumors of trouble...

Teak sandwich! I've heard of marine plywood in there but teak... anyway, thank you for the quick reply. If anyone else know the "years to avoid" or dates they used teak in this capacity, it would be great to know. Erik

Hello all, I hope its allowed to jump in here on a related topic within this thread. I currently am boatless (very painful) until my softball daughter graduates high school. Since my days with my beloved Canoe Cove 41 ended, I have become very smitten with the Island Gypsy 36 - both aft cabin...
