    Air Conditioner VFD technology?

The issue I'd have is that I'm using my Inverter to create 120v AC and then using the inverter contained in this unit to convert back to 12v, seems like fairly significant overhead, 20%?. I like the idea if it ran directly off 12v like the Mabru, just bought new A/C but couldn't justify the...

    Marine Air Conditioners

We have same boat as you. Our 3 A/Cs are Marine Aiiiire and are original and I'm starting to get worried about longevity. 12kBTU under master bed (noisy, rarely use, too cold), 16kBTU under bench in PH used to cool Salon with vent above fridge (not enough cooling), 16kBTU unit under PH...

    Fresh water engine anode question

I had the same problem but used Aluminum anodes as I was going to salt/brakish water down the ICW. I talked with Boatzincs and their said that only zinc is used within engines as the environment is too severe for Al or Mn, hence the difficulty finding those. They said there would be no problem...

    Aluminum Anodes

    Aluminum Anodes

I changed to Aluminum alloy anodes last year on recommendation of Martyr. We boat in fresh water but plan to go to salt water for a several months. I did notice after last year they had eroded slightly in fresh water, exactly what we want to happen. I called Cummins and they still recommend...

    Mainship 430 or Bayliner 4788

The 30k weight on Bayliner 4788 is a stipped version, add options; airconditioning, FB fridge, generator, etc.... I had mine weighed last year, 24k back sling, 16k front sling, this was half diesel/water.

    Fender Covers

We used Mr. Clean Magic Erasers to get both our white and navy fenders almost completely clean. Then waxed them twice and made socks from something similar to Sailrite Boat Blanket fabric. So far so good.
