Had the same problem two weeks ago with my TAMD40B. There is an electrical shut off with the key in the 12 o'clock position. Solved the problem by cleaning the wires and the terminal on top of the injector pump.

I have a Volvo TAMD40B that won't shut down. Had to block the air intake to turn it off. Ignition switch? Any ideas?

Barnacle Buster did the trick for me. They recommend recirculating it through the system with a pump and reservoir. I just let it sit overnight and ran the engine for 20 minutes after. Amazing what comes out. Supposedly biodegradable.

Don't use epoxy. As stated, the sun will get to it and yellow it. Any cracks and water intrusion will blacken it. If you want to seal it before varnishing, try Clear Penetrating Epoxy Sealer CPES. First you must wood the surface (remove any coatings). Brush on CPES until the wood won't soak in...

My warning buzzer has been going off and on occasionally over the past few weeks. Very brief. Can go for hours, even days without going off. No change in Oil Pressure, Temperature or Voltage. I've run all the necessary checks. Do these warning buzzers ever malfunction?
