    Thoughts on Bow Thrusters

I had a stern thruster (no bow thruster) installed in the spring. He installed two series 32 AGM's with there own charger. I now have a 800 ah AGM house bank, AGM start bank, set of AGM for the stern thruster and separate lead acid series 32 for the generator start.

    mattresses over the winter

Just looking for the best way to keep my mattresses from getting moldy. I have two pillow tops that I would prefer not to take off the boat. Does anyone leave them on wrapped in plastic? I do not have access to power 24 / 7 or I would leave a dehumidifier on.

    new windless and mission creep

The original Vetrus windless had gotten so weak it could not pull the anchor over the roller. I researched the forum and decided on a Lofrans Tigres. I also wanted to replace the relay with the new one that came with it. I figured it should take 1-1/2 hrs to do the R & R. Well boat time must get...

Guru, The inverter is off both at the mastervolt touch screen and the main switch, I do have new SOC meters that I am still trying to understand. I am going to take a look at the house batteries to see if they are definitely deep cycle. What I really want to know is what you go by it % or...

    How much should I use?

Sorry fat fingers, They are group 31 deep cycle 1000 CCA Interstate lead acid batteries. The charger is only used when the genset is running or when I am on shore power. Would this cause high fuel vacuum

The electric pump is back at the fuel tanks and is only used to bleed the system. The mechanical lift pump is on the engine and it to is new. By adding the bypass the problem 100% disappeared.

Would this cause high fuel vacuum

Here is what the issue was. The inline fuel pump used for bleeding was my restriction. It is a big 125 gph pump. I plumbed up a bypass and all is well. That was quite the education I know my fuel system intimately now which is a good thing.
