I will second anchoring between Prudence and Patience. Good depth and holding. That is our go to day anchorage when our grandson is aboard.

My dog gets crated every night and when we are out of the house. She is happy to go in and sometimes she needs convincing to get out. I just ordered her boat crate so I can start getting her used to it. Her house crate is too big for the boat.

Fogland is a also a nice quite anchorage when heading up the Tiverton river. Sheltered from southerly and easterly breezes.

As I prep my boat for extended coastal cruising and the Loop, I was wondering how many people have a drogue and does it get used? Is this a case of having to fit even more ****? I am that guy that wants to be prepared for whatever comes my way.

The compass is easily seen while standing. The boat is just about complete and ready to go. All I have left is minor details and cosmetics which I will do this spring.
