Do you use it at its full thickness? In one video the guy pulled and rolled it to make it thinner then worked it to flatten it out on the window flange. I tried doing it their way and the outside flange is now out 1/8" the thickness of the hand flattened butyl tape. I have not tried to pull it...

My sliding doors rattle when under way. What does everyone do to quiet that? I have been using a teak wood shim which works.

The boat is at my house. I had to pay for oversize load permit but it is so easy to get stuff done. I have it in a 16 x 40 shelter that I can heat so I have no excuses. I plan to move the stands I know the guy blasting has moved them. The blocks are an issue not sure what I will do about that.

The last window is out hooray. On this one the PO used both epoxy and 3M5200 so it was the worst one I had to cut out. The method he used was fix the leak, hide the rot and make it look good. With all the demo done it can only get better from here.

I removed the starboard rear window tonight. This window was leaking the PO had used the 5200 everywhere except the inside where it was wet. Now I get to replace some veneer. The project just grows.
