Looks like peg board? If so it is not intended to be used outdoors. Could mean the upper deck is leaking but has not been long enough to cause a soft spot yet. Or water can just follow around the edge of the deck and get the underside wet, especially if the edge has a radius to it.

Refinished all the exterior bright work on my 49 Defever this past summer. Used a heat gun and scraper down to bare wood, then sanded with 150 grit paper. Next was 3 coats unthinned Cetol, then 2 coats of Cetol Gloss.

Doesn't your generator have a alternator on it that charges that battery? You should be able to let it sit for months without needing a charge. (as long as nothing else is connected to that battery) I just started my generator tonight for the first time in 3 months and it started right up.

You replace the entire dampener, not just the springs.

There is a plate inside there with springs in it that absorb the shock when the transmission is engaged. They my have been damaged and are rattling around in there.

My Racor filters are a lot easier to service than the secondary filters on the engine. So I run two micron filters in the Racors (dual set up on each engine) and not worry about the secondaries. Nothing big enough for the secondary filter to catch.

I second Steve Berg. But he is highly sought after. Took me nearly a month to get him on the boat. For engine survey I would call Craig Smith at Compass Marine. Not sure how much Volvo he does. He is also highly sought after and is usually very busy.

Is there a pressure tank in the system? If so check the pressure in the tank.

Are your video's inverted because it is not programmed correctly? Make sure you have it set so you can shoot upside down or right side up.
