    You can stay away from Hydrofluoric acid based products, as Craig said Coke works quite well, trouble is It's pretty sticky lol, the reason it works is that it contains phosphoric acid....that's why I never drink it:whistling: Do a bit more research, I found this in 10 seconds...

    While we're on the subject guys, how do you avoid damaging the thru hull transducers with the lifting slings?. I'm in the process of having some new, and very expensive, trans installed while the boat is on the hard for winter, so I was just wondering.

    Well for the big radial engines on the aircraft we had a tank with a heater element, for the smaller motors we just drained the oil pan and warmed it up on a stove...don't let your wife catch you!! My last tractor, a Ford 8000, had a Lehman..well basically the same thing, I wouldn't even bother...

    Welcome aboard Bryan, If you're sure the battery is top line and the leads are all good?, the I'll 2nd Forkliftt, a rebuilt motor is probable tight, Lehman's are slow to crank at the best of times.     ActiveCaptain, As I said, my radar is new so I'll stick with that unit, I would like the option to overlay radar to map, but whether that can be done with the I-COM I don't yet know, just thinking compatibility wise, thanks I will check out Simrad to see what's new. I've become very confused...
