    Ideas for swimplatform ladder needed

    I am rebuilding my swim platform on my 42 Grand Banks and would like to add a permanent ladder that is easy to use as my wife an I age. Something with handholds. Similar to spool ladder that folds up and doesn't hang off the end of the swim platform. Thanks in advance

    ThruHull Exit Clamshell

    My 42 has a missing clam shell on the hull where the forward sink thru hull exits. I've searched all the company's that make thru hulls. The outside diameter is 4". Anyone know where I can find one?

    Volvo or Cummins?

    Cummins I have the 6cta8.3’s on my 2001 42. WOT at 2600rpms hits 20kts. We cruise comfortably at 14kts at 2100RPM and if we need to be fuel conscious 10kts at 1400rpms. Love these engines.

    Lake Okeechobee

    Ok so is making me nervous. We just purchased a GB42 and plan to bring it home to Annapolis at the end of March. What should I look at to use as a determining factor whether or not to cross Florida? Thank you.
