Hey folks, May be purchasing a Ranger 29 in Grasonville,,MD and would like to know what pearls of wisdom and information anyone can offer such as where to stop and what routes to take , Marin’s used fuel stops, travel through NYC to get to the Long Island Sound…etc… any help greatly appreciated!

I have a 28’ Cape Dory Trawler with a 100hp westerbeke and was wondering if any one with similar has had any luck repropping to get a bit more speed. Thanks!

What kinda speed did you get with a gas engine. I’ve got a Westerbeke 100hp. Not sure what rpm is going to be best for both fuel economy and speed. Hoping it’ll cruise at 8-9 knots.

Do you get more than a season out of the Petite?

New to trawlers and curious as to what folks like for bottom paint. I harbor in The waters in and around Martha’s Vineyard. Had a sailboat for several years and used Micron Extra with Biocide with excellent success. Feedback appreciated.
