    Seacock servicing

I don't understand why some of you are saying 'replace it cause it's old.* those type of seacocks will out last just about everyone here. Just do some minimal servicing on it ,waterproof grease once every few years. If it is getting stiff take it apart clean it grease it and put it back...

    Help with design

Rick, Have you ever seen a high pressure water jet cut thru 6 in. of steel like it was butter! Water is one of the worst things you can run thru an injector. One drop however might not destroy an injector but it has the potential to screw up the spray pattern and cause irregular burning of the fuel.

    Help with design

Hey guys, I wonder what percentage of boat owners out there on the water, or at the dock, really know what is going on with their boat systems. Alternator AC Voltage

Just checked the voltage on my alt. 7.26 @700rpm and 7.26 @1000rpm. My alt. is an Autolite (Ford) but they all have their differences. The voltage will vary depending on the number of lobes on the rotating assembly. There is a formula to figure what the voltage should be. If you have a steady...

Bob, Sound exactly what mine was doing. I have a D2 forced air unit that really needs close to 13 volts to keep the glow pin lit. Once the unit comes up to temp and the glow pin shuts off it will run on a lower voltage. My charger was putting out over 13 volts to keep the bats charged all the...

    Which Battery Switch

If you are just going to use the switch as a temp. solution a heavy knife switch would be the best. Not too expensive either.
