    Been there Done that! I had same autopilot on our boat and used the motor and pump with a new modern autopilot because something in the old electronics died. Rip out the electronic boards and leave only the motor. Connect the motor leads to your new autopilot using the “reversing motor”...

    Great info!! No leaks now but with 2 and they are now 39yrs old will keep in a file for use if and when a leak develops.

    We also own a a 49rph, a '79, twin leman 120's. With that hull 120's are plenty and the high bow is comfortable to have. We will often on calm days here on the Chesapeake shut one down and freewheel the prop (don't mean to start up that conversation) and with @200rpm more on the running engine...

    When we purchased our trawler it had a helm seat on the fly-bridge, a cheap plastic "brand name" seat. Not comfortable at all and was not very sturdy either (flexed a lot) only good thing was the base was adjustable and swiveled. Went to a pick & pay auto junk yard, got a seat out of a van...
