    Varnish vs Teak Oil for exterior caprails

    I use a product called Honey Teak but I do not use the color portion just the clear coat. It it a 2 part product and it seems to last longer then varnish. I have also found that if you have an area that gets scuffed up or peals, it very easy to blend.

    I used one of the Seafit links to join 2 sections of 3/8 G4 HT. After a couple of seasons I decided to replace it with a new Seafit link.     Thanks for your input! I always say that fuel consumption many times is a right arm issue. The further you push those throttles the more it will cost you. I estimate about 1.5 miles per gallon.

    I have not ran across many Sea Rangers but they seem to be stout and well made. Has anyone out there ran their 45+ in rough seas?
