My main ship 400 started acting up at the end of the season. After some investigating it needed brushes. The PO must of relied on it heavy. After I replaced them and gave it a good cleaning it worked better than it ever did.

A couple weeks ago same thing, Baltimore pumped 1.5 million gallons in to the Jones falls which flows into the Patapsco then the Chesapeake bay because of a storm. I’m Kent island wondered how long it would take to get here.

I had my prop worked by black dog propellers here in Stevensville. My full load ( ( fuel,water,food,dinghy and family.) RPM was down 200 rpms, photo tach versus tachometer. They loosen up the prop tuned all blades and balanced. I can’t wait to try it out.

I also have a Mainship 400 T with the same prop. The standard prop from the factory was a 4 blade. The 5 blade pro was an option. When shopping for my boat I saw more 5 blade singles engine Mainships.

I have a 2007 Mainship 40 T and had the same problem. I replaced the entire run. Mine used two different size hoses. The batteries were spent when I purchased my boat. Be sure to check your battery shelf. I had to replace one of mine.

I have a 2007 400 and the gel coat is in good shape. After I wet sanded and buffed the repairs the color was perfect. The yanmar dealer has the grey spray paint. I don't think they sell brush paint. I've also seen the spray in ebay

I have a 400T and the interior is Cherry veneer. I'm not sure what finish they used on it.

Hatch hinge I'm sorry I'm late with this.

The hinge is on the port side of the main hatch so it opens towards the couch. The small hatch on the starboard side also is hinged. There aren't any lift assist but it does have a strap to limit how far it opens. I will take some photos this weekend when I'm back home.

I have a 2007 400 and it has piano hinges, hidden. I'm not the original owner so I'm not sure if it came with them.
