Coming out of the yard, my sliding door by the helm station jams after opening about 8 inches. It looks like the door was slid into the frame by the builder, then the frame was screwed/glued into the hatch. Has anyone ever taken the sliding door off, and if so, how did you do it?

I bought fender holders then realized they clobbered the bejabbers out of anywhere I tried to mount them. My fenders fit nicely under the middle seat on the port side of the fly bridge on my MS 400. And they are out of the elements when not in use.
