    Heat pump combo washer/dryer

Here’s my opinion. I have owned the vented and non-vented washer dryer. Do I nave preference? Not really. Both are a ‘poor excuse’ but both are better than nothing or going ashore. If you dont like wrinkles I guess you need an iron. Remember it’s a boat and those are boating clothes.

    Engine Odometer Missing

I agree. Drain the oil, add the prescribed amount, re mark the dipstick and use that mark in the future as the ‘full’ mark.

Bluish smoke- oil or unburnt Fuel?

When I run my engine at the dock, I also exercise my running gear so, it is under load. It might take an hour or two.

My first thought is, ‘what am I doing out here?’ Second thought, ‘how do I safely retreat?’ So much for a ‘good weather window’.

I have a MrCoffee ?12 cup machine and seldom make more than 8 cups. I really dont mind stale coffee. I think it uses about8 amps, then I shut the machine off. I also have a cheat plastic French press, directions unknown. When away from the dock, the glass pot lives in the sink. My bro refuses...

Power ratings and a new engine decision: Need some help

What engine is in there now and why are you considering a change? Using the same brand and rating may allow something closer to a “drop in’ replacement. IMO, based upon my N46, Luggar 120hp, go with the one that gives you more space to work

The circulating water heater I used on my Bronco, in northern Alberta… cut the coolant hose, install the thermostatically controlled heater unit, hose clamp securely, plug it it and you should hear a click when it is operating. I saw temps of minus -46F.

    Does Anyone Use Cockpit Controls?

I can only speak about the dock master. Engage it and the engine speed drops to ‘crawl speed’. I agree, I personally would feel more comfortable with a wired remote but, I was told they are no longer available. Not a big deal. SHRUG
