    Prop Pitch/size

    The 3116 engine was originally build with a soft block that deteriorates and has to have a sleeve inserted to correct. Initially catapillar corrected the problem but only if you asked but it appears the earlier owner didn’t fix it.

    I have been told I could run just one engine at a time to reduce where and tear. Is this possible without incurring any damage?

    I’m an x sailor. Got tired of pulling lines. Just bought a 430 Mainship. Great space below but it does have two engines. I’ve been told you can run it on one engine at a time. Has anyone heard that?

    First time power boater (trawler)

    We close on a trawler this month. We are going from a 47 foot sailboat to a 43 foot trawler. We have never owned a power boat and I’m looking for input. We will be bringing it to Punta Gorda FL from Maryland. Are there areas we need to watch for?
