    Had to post pone glassing the decks this week so carrier on with the swim grid dryfit. Installed a sapele mahogany wedge block for the swim grid to mount to. The curve was out by an 1/8th and the rake was greater than my transom so the block was cut to fit those deviations. It was fastened and...

    Had a backing nut made for the rudder gland. Had an incident last year where it backed off and in turn pulled the rudder up with it, until it contacted the hull. No more! Gonna have a tight, nicely sealing, adjustable packing again!

    Keel is done, cleat block is dry fit properly and the planking up the side to the gunnel is dry fit, minus the last two which get done in the cap rail process for ease of access all around

    Thanks! Transom hasn't been made yet, but I dropped off the template. They're going to have a go at it in the new year. I still have 16 planks on the topside to install, plus ensuring the stbd structure is good to go before trapping it behind the transom. Stop by anytime! Those IPAs went down...
