    perkins intercooler question

David, the intercooler not being hooked up is been the way its been since I bought the boat in 2011. It wasn't till later that i realized water should be hooked up. I just guessed that it was raw water because the fresh water system doesn't seem like it would connect.

    perkins intercooler question

I've got a early 60s Perkins T6.354m. Having turbo rebuilt currently and shop said I was overheating my turbo on the discharge side. I explained that there is an intercooler with a way to hook up raw water but it hasn't been connected and the reason why I never tried it is in fear of a water...

    Radar

okay, after further investigation i decided that this was more of a pain in the rear then originally thought. There are no end connectors to any of the wires. The unit is also a cheaper brand and it looks like its atleast 15 or 20 years old so finding the right parts probably wont be that easy...

    Painting Old Fiberglass Boat

ok this is for a commercial dungeness crab boat so the deck will see a lot of weather along with sea water. I think im going to get a good marine paint & primer for the deck however, if i can do some of the topside trim with an oil based paint then im going to try it and see how it goes. Im not...

    Radar

ok i understand i should walk away but its quite the bargain and almost worth the gamble. the screen is fairly new looking however it does make me wonder why it was cut and now sits at the marine exchange.

I'm 26 years old now, Used to be a commercial fisherman in Alaska and then bought this crabbing vessel for the Puget Sound in the summer of 2011. Took it out in...
