I used the Starlink Wall Mount pipe and dish bracket to mount mine in a rod holder with a set screw added. should have adjusted the rod holder so that the dish would be flat, but it didn't seem to bother the reception. If I ever have issues that will be the first step of troubleshooting.

I'm George, a new boat owner of an experienced Mainship 400. I'll be cruising the Tennessee River this summer, then in the fall heading to Florida and starting the Great Loop. I lurk more than post, and I have already learned much in the forum.

The closest navigable river to the Continental Divide would be the Arkansas, to Tulsa, OK. Depending on your starting point and final destination, it would probably be easier to truck to Texas and use the intercoastal to get to the Mississippi.
