Start trolling web sites and look at pics and decied what style will work for you. You also need to decied what you are going to do with ie ICW and over to Bahamas or are you planning to go through canal and across Pacific. That would be a totally different vessel.:) Either way I am jelous good...

I think this will cost VW mega$ to fix which may leave them vunerable to take overs , they have some good technologies which others may want. It will be interesting to watch what happens , this is what happens when you are caught cheating.:)

There is only one way to tell if this is right for you and that's to do it and to do it properly and get a comfortable boat capable of doing what you want to accomplish ,whether that is cruise offshore or intracoastal or harbour sit.

As the complaint is about a municipal run marina all complaints are probably a waste of your time. 1 the employees are union and don't really care 2 the management obviously doesn't care because this will not be the first complaint they have received and nothing appears to have been done to fix...

All this talk of food is making me hungry , when I bbq I have to have a cold beer to go withit , never had a complaint about that either

I have experimented with a 5 gal bucket and different lengths of rope , did not notice any real improvement , a big tyre sounds better except I donot carry one
