Nostalgia won out. I was able to get a replacement nut made at a local machine shop. One big problem was the fact the the faucet was 6" center not a 4". Anyway, thanks for all the responses. These forums are always a big help.

Seems I missed clearing water from the faucet in the tub in our 36 Albin during winterization. Now I need to repair or replace the faucet. Any suggestions or discarded faucets laying around? I need a retaining nut (it split) to repair the faucet but can't locate one. Even tried McMaster.

I too would recommend Butler Marine. I've seen the work they do and it's excellent. They made a coockpit hatch cover for my 36 Albin Classic and it turned out great.

Visited the website suggested (Compass Marine) and copied the document. I head back to the trawler on Monday and should be able to work them and/or service them as suggested. Thanks all for your input.

My 81 Albin has seacocks I have never seen before. Look nothing like the Grocos on my former trawler. They have handles but odd looking ones. I tried closing one but was unwilling to force it. Anyone have the old stlye SC? How do you operate them?

Installed and working Got the induction stove top installed in Ment Tu Be and made a cover out of a plastic cutting board (SAMS CLUB) to lay over it when not in use. Gives it protection and us more space to land stuff. You have all been a great source of information and inspiration.

Stove Top I just removed a Magic Chef Stove/Oven from our Albin. Intend to install an electric cook top and convection oven. Would be interested in any electric stove tops you all might be removing.
