The boat has been in pending the whole time and I cannot get a reply thru DM. So will probably pass on it.

    ROI/Sweat Equity v. Reality

I have not bought my trawler YET ,still looking ,but live on large lake and have had boats all my life. A boat is not an investment, it is a lifestyle. I enjoy working on them and the pleasure that it brings me and my wife. When I buy my trawler I am looking for the most bang for my buck. But, I...

    PSS Seal Maintenance

I am new and still learning, so, I have an ignorant question due to lack of knowledge. I am assuming you have to haul out to change dripless seal boot. If anyone has changed a CV axle shaft, years ago you had to pull the whole axle. Then they came up with a boot that was like a clam shell...

I have tried to find this model on internet for sale with no luck. I feel in todays market it is overpriced. Plus from photos it has...

1989 Bayliner 3888 MY Hino Engines need Info/Opinions

I have seen that in one YouTube video. I would have to call them to get specs for structural strength and compression strength and the adhesive capabilities to the remaining materials. But it is an idea, but whatever I do I want it to be a permanent one time fix.

    Twin Diesels versus single

I wish to thank everyone for their input. My only thought is that if storage is permitted on what ever I buy, I will have spares for everything except the block and heads. LOL My main reason in looking at single screw is fuel burn. I saw one that was single , with 400 gallon fuel tank ,stating...

How many out here in Trawler Land ,have used single engines ? I know everyone is going to say two for redundancy in the middle of the ocean. However I would like to know if there are any brave and adventurous souls that have done it. I will be going from South Carolina to Bahamas and further...
