    refrigerator question number 2

Refrigerator My Isotherm has been a nightmare. Based on my experience, I would be very careful in chosing Isotherm as an refrigeration unit. The interior of my refrigerator came apart prior to the 2-year warrantee expiration. RandyT

    Nice boat for someone!!!...Cardude?

This boat was also called a Fantail 50. There was(is?)one for sale out of Portland, OR for about $275,000. It is a little used up. This design caused a bit of a stir when it came out because it was designed to be fuel efficient as a criteria. In my memory, it was one of the first to use fuel...

Wooden trawler yearly upkeep costs verses fiberglass

Wooden Boat Upkeep suprahattie, I would recommend checking out the Grand Banks owners site and looking at the Woodenboat Magazine Forum for informed guidance. Based on my experience, the real cost in buying an old boat is in getting the systems on the boat up to standard, not the cost of the...

    Flooring

I used my boat for an office for 15 years, 8-10 hours a day, 5 days a week. During the last 10 years, the flooring that was in place was Metrofloor Commercial, a plank vinyl product. It is bulletproof and requires little or no care other than a damp mop. You have to pay some attention during...

    Convert Force10 Heater to Propane

Heater Conversion Mattkab, Is heat produced by the heater enough now? I would say, if 6,500 BTU works, stay with it, if no, spend the money to upgrade. Keeping in mind, I think you can't have enough heat in PNW. randyt

superior features of a wood vessel

Hull Material I call a Dashew boat "dreaming in the unlimited catagory". I have followed his work for years and he does it right. Seems like he always starts out with a clean sheet of paper when he designs a boat. Plus he doesn't give a hoot about what the marketing guys have say. RandyT
