    Perkins Range 4 M135 -

    I have an 86 Monk 36 with the Perkins 135. I too burn 1.8 mph at 8 knots at 2100 rpm. Just replaced all the hoses as they were hard as rock and a couple of injector lines an electrician stepped on. Had the injector pump rebuilt after a minor leak. Very happy with it.

    Looking for advice on ice makers for our 36' Monk. The upright fridge makes ice but works too hard to the detriment of the main fridge. There are 2 types of 110v ice makers I see. 1) those that make cubes and drop them in a bucket but don't store the ice. You must dump it in a cooler. Manual...

    My wife Nancy and I are joining the trawler community with our purchase last fall of a Monk 36. Plan on the Trent Severn water way this year and the Rideau Canal System before heading to Florida this fall. Fair seas.
